Am I wrong to want a strong, safe, and wealthy country? You don’t need to answer that, obviously it was rhetorical, or is it? Apparently there are those who believe in the contrary. To be able to provide a safe country, you must secure your borders, and make sure the people that enter the country are going to contribute to society, conform to the values, and adhere to the laws that are set. Now when I say contribute to society I mean getting into the workforce, and not being dependent on government assistance. For years we have let people come to this country, and jump straight into the system, and give all types of assisted living. Some of these people took advantage, and either did nothing, or worked under the table to continue the assisted living.
This needs to change. No longer can we accept these types of people. This is a huge burden on this country, and I for one am tired of paying for it. The Trump administration recently has put together a plan to help reduce this burden with The Reforming American Immigration for Strong Employment Act, or RAISE Act. The RAISE Act favors people between the ages of 26 and 30 with a doctorate, high English proficiency and a job offer with a high salary. This would bring the people that actually want a better life, and are willing to work for it. It also reduces crime that is caused by bringing in the right individuals.
With bringing higher skilled people it would allow for this country to grow financially, and more jobs for the people already living here because companies would be forced to not chase the cheap laborers. Who wouldn’t want this for our country? Again as I said earlier there are those who would fight for the contrary. Where is the logic in that? Then again the left doesn’t use logic.
