President: Address to Congress
Tonight our President delivered to Congress his most impressive speech since his election. A speech which called for both sides to unite to make a greater America. His speech at the Address to Congress was stern, but emotional as he honored the service, and sacrifice of slain Navy Seal Ryan Owens, and recognizes his widow who was in attendance by saying that “Ryan’s legacy is etched into eternity,” and went on to say that “we will never forget him,”which she received an extended standing ovation. He also recognized rare disease survivor Megan Crowley, a 20-year-old who has Pompe disease.
He went into detail of his plan to repeal, and replace Obamacare, border security, foreign trade, and all the items on his agenda.
But nothing stood out more than his calling for a unified government, and country.
He ended the speech with this strong closing “I am asking all citizens to embrace this Renewal of the American Spirit. I am asking all members of Congress to join me in dreaming big, and bold and daring things for our country. And I am asking everyone watching tonight to seize this moment and – Believe in yourselves, Believe in your future, And believe, once more, in America.”
